Bernie will be away on holiday from October 23rd and returning to work on November 6th. If you would like to book an appointment, please send me a message on WhatsApp (+44 7900555005) and I will try to reply when I get the opportunity.
What to expect during your physiotherapy session.
If you are planning on booking a session with me, please watch this You Tube video to give you an idea of what a typical session involves. It is about 4 minutes long and details what generally happens in your first appointment as well as the address, what you need to bring, wear and give consent to. I will ask if you have watched and understood the video before any examination takes place.

It is open to the general public and there is no need to for a GP referral. There is no waiting list so to get assessed and treated promptly just send a message or call the mobile number to book an appointment.
All clients will have free use of the modern gym facilities and free weights while under the supervision of the therapist.
START prides itself on using the most up to date treatments and exclusively "hands-on" as there are no machines like ultrasound or vibration plates. Evidence-based practice and great skills and knowledge are what you are paying for.

Bernie is now a Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Certified Medical Professional. Having an intricate knowledge of the stresses the body goes under during the golf swing means a better understanding of potential injuries and swing characteristics.
START Clinic is now able to perform a dynamic screening process which assesses everything from neck range of movement to your ability to stand on one leg with your eyes closed. All 16 tests affect your ability to swing a golf club efficiently. Just working on a few identified areas of stiffness and weakness can dramatically improve your ball striking and decrease the risk of injury.
Having a medical professional who can find what you need is one thing. Being shown how to get it and WHY you need it will make so much more sense. If you understand what your body is missing and how it can affect your swing, you are much more likely to do something about it.
Give it a go. I am totally confident that you will gain more than just information.
