START has provided clinical placements for final year Physiotherapy students from Robert Gordon University and Queen Margaret University.

START Clinic is not currently offering any free placement positions, but if you are a physiotherapy undergraduate and willing to pay for your placement, please write a detailed and thorough email to bernie@startclinic.co.uk. Taking on a student is a massive commitment of time, energy and effort. Teaching skills, practising new techniques and providing constant feedback is hard work and I can not afford to give it away. Physiotherapy courses for postgraduates usually cost around £400/day. If you are wanting a placement at a  clinic that is going to be dynamic and exciting make contact and we can discuss.

START is not offering any placements or work experience for high school students. Please contact the physiotherapy department at the St Andrews Community Hospital if you are seeking a position.

There will be a minimum charge of £20 for any letters or documentation required for referral to specialists, student services, insurance company or any legal or professioal body. This is to cover the the time taken to retrieve your notes, scan and upload or type the letter and email it. This cost is per document and payment is required before being sent.

There will be a charge of £5 per document provided for the purpose of receipts other than those provided by the credit card machine. With the increased number of people requiring detailed receipts, the cheapest option is to have multiple sessions per receipt rather than issuing one each time.
