Bernie Li is the founder of START and lead physiotherapist. He grew up in Melbourne and graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1997 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy.

He moved to the UK in 2000 and has travelled extensively for 3 years before working with the Ministry of Defence in Portsmouth, Faslane and RAF Leuchars. He has also worked for the NHS in St Andrews for 6 years while also running a private practice in Cupar (ReCuparate Physiotherapy).

Being a proud Australian he grew up competing to district level at cricket, tennis and triathlons. He found his true passion in golf in Scotland and moved to Fife in 2004. The highlight of his sporting career is winning the St Andrews Golf Club Championship in 2008 and representing the club at the World Club Championships in Beijing. He is a scratch golfer and TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) Certified Physiotherapist.

Dr. Bob Robertson is START's sports medicine doctor. He is currently the senior partner at North Glen Medical Practice as well as the Club Doctor for Dunfermline Athletic Football Club.

Throughout his medical studies at Edinburgh University, Bob was a professional footballer for DAFC and Alloa FC over 11 years. He is passionate about sports and enjoys working with athletes of all shapes and sizes. He is a former Club Champion at Ladybank Golf Club and keeps fit with cycling and hill walking.

His experience as a professional athlete combined with his knowledge as a Sports Doctor and GP gives him a unique perspective and will be a great source of knowledge and guidance for patients who require specialist diagnosis.

Dr. Bharti Rajput PhD is the founder of Sole Body Soul, an innovative private podiatry and wellness clinic in Broughty Ferry.

She trained in Podiatric Medicine at the London Foot Hospital and has worked in the NHS as well as private practice and is also a regular speaker at conferences and workshops.

During her Phd, her research focused on the prevention of diabetic foot ulcers using cutting edge animation technology similar to that used in the Harry Potter films. She was the first person to develop a system to measure dynamic gait that combined Motion analysis, Pressure plates, Foot Pressure and EMG technoologies.

With her roots from Kenya, home of numerous long distance runners, she began her career in sports podiatry whilst treating athletes at the London Marathon and has since served as the podiatrist for Dundee Football Club and more recently with Tayside and Fife Institute of Sport athletes.
